Zoie

History: One of the many moons that orbits Seidrheim is called Zoie, named after the great deity who roamed the planet before the elves. She controlled bodies of water and the air, and was revered by all the other gods who roamed alongside her. None held anywhere near the same power and yet she had no desire to rule with an iron fist. She was as wily as the oceans' creatures and as graceful as the winds. Legends say that once the elves were born on Seidrheim, Zoie felt her time was coming to an end. She found a solitary celestial body in another galaxy, orbiting a dead planet, and plucked it for herself. Because she loved Seidrheim so much, she decided to orbit it while she slumbers for eternity. Zoie holds great importance to all water- and air-based races.   Description: Zoie is a large moon that rises every evening just before sunset, and is a striking turquoise due to the minerals on its surface, and has very few craters in it. Another interesting feature about Zoie is that it hosts a total lunar eclipse three times a year, compared to some of the other moons which typically only have partial eclipses a few times a year.   Events: One of the most interesting events in Seidrheim is when the ocean and air races come together to celebrate their common deity, Zoie. The Aarakocra, Sylphs, Selkies, and Mermaids come together, building rafts on the water to commune together. They celebrate Zoie by sharing goods and culture in a manner that would please her.   There are three forges on Seidrheim that practice lunar crafting, and during total lunar eclipses they are able to imbue weapons with the powers of air and water. The Aarakocra, Sylphs, Selkies, and Mermaids are naturally proficient with these weapons, regardless of style, and can pick up wielding them even if they aren't their main weapon choice.
