Leuctra
(sixth moon): This moon is strange and unnatural. It is composed of shifting metallic “plates” (similar to techtonic plates) that are constantly moving, with new plates rising from the depths. The plates seem to be composed of elaborate mazes, often filled with strange archeo & xeno tech. The plates take centuries to move, though it can be very sudden. The Mechanicus has placed several stations in orbit to observe the plate’s movement, so that any new plates observed might be immediately explored. Over 100 plates have currently been explored, representing less than 5% of the volume of the moon. The Mechanicus believe some holy engine is hidden inside the moon, and strive to find a path through the plates into the core. No “core” expedition has ever returned from the depths; the current theory is that the moving plates closed off the entry path.
