Vrath
Vrath Isa Nogo
Vrath was born in a halfling settlement just outside of Kalsgard in the Land of the Linnorm Kings. Both of his parents were lower class craftsmen focusing on armor and weaponsmithing. He has three younger siblings.
In his youth he fell into a bad crowd and caused mischief around his village and the city of Kalsgard. He vandalized the propertiy of a retired Chelaxian soldier, and took great pleasure in doing so showing no guilt or remorse due to the Chelaxian's treatment of halflings in Cheliax as slaves.
He is very attached to a necklace that was given to him by his mother before his first raid, and it was here he experienced his first rage. He met a person in his life here that he could tell anything, his deepest darkest secrets, emotionally weaknesses and vulnerabilities and they became a valuable friend in helping him learn to control his rage.
One day in Kalsgard he encountered a figure in black armor, a vampire in full adamantine plate from the Umbral Court on Nidal. Everyone kept their distance, but having no fear and not knowing any better, he questioned the figure about his armor and its construction. The figure did not answer, and only gave him a grim cold stare from beneath his visor. Not getting anywhere with him, he left but found himself in an alleyway encountering the figure again. He grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground, and his body felt very cold and numb. An arrow flew past him into his attacker, and it vanished into smoke and fled the area. An elven ranger rescued him before he collapsed to the ground.
He battled against the draining of his life, and the passing into the shadow realm with support from the elf and his family. After a week he recovered, and went to seek out the elf who told him that if he is interested in such armor he should join the Pathfinder Society, and perhaps they could get him some of the material to work with. He departed Kalsgard with one of his siblings, to trade goods in Absolam. It was a long voyage but he eventually found his way there and to the Grand Lodge of the Pathfinders.
Here he met Aclen Kemanir, elven magus eldritch archer, and Emelnia Rosenys, a half-elf bardic animal speaker. They exchanged pleasantries and told him they were new recruits, just as Vrath was heading off to his first assigment to pass his initiation. He set off to the flooded district of Absolom, and was pulled into an alleyway by a very tall elven women who told him, "You're coming with me." He did not protest, and found himself in a group with fellow Pathfinder agents, Maiki the Elven Slayer, Oreleth a human bombadier, and Harok an orc shaman.
