Keen Cranberry Merlot
The sellers will tell you it’s warm, fruity and well balanced with just enough tart astringency to give it character. However, in point of fact, this poorly made red wine is green and acidic. Instead of that balanced acidity that makes your mouth water and gives you that mouth-puckering sensation, which can make a wine seem refreshing and zesty, this acidity is so harsh it makes you worry for your teeth.
This merlot is inexpensive and easily aquired in lower class neighborhoods. It is a poor man's drink, often used in wedding celebrations by those who are worried about costs as this racy wine does have a pleasent fruity aroma.

While he did not achieve his dream, his Keen Cranberry Merlot sold well to the lower classes and as one of the first alcohol producers in the area he did make his fortune.
