Aeson Stormsea

Prophet of the elves in Shoa Fraria. Brother of Alea Whispersea and founder of La Serine

Aeson Stormsea was the first elf who initiated the mainstream to travel by sea. Through Aeson's guidance, the dwarfes together with the elves managed to successfully found the enchanted city of La Serine, located in Shoa Fraria. He is one of the greatest of the world's prophet. He is the brother of Alea Whispersea. Together, the two have represented the highest leadership of the elves ever since the fall of Queen and the rise of Highborne. However Aeson is more acting in the "shadow" and supporting his sisters instruction.   He is viewed as a prophet and savior to his people, greatest prophet ever to live, and one of the most powerful elves in history.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Aeson Stormsea, son of Arlen Brightsea, grew up together with his sister, Alea Whispersea, in the dark forest of Shoa Fraria. The two were inseparable, playing in the woods, racing, learning to hunt. Alea consistently bested her brother. As they grew into adulthood together they encouraged each other to find their respective callings.   Aeson was taken under the wing of the demigod Manos. Alea, meanwhile, was to find peace in the Temple of Dream in A'sa Entheas, and became a novice priestess in the order of the Sisters of the Dream.   Aeson was the most dedicated of Manos' three disciples. He was a respected scholar loyal and among the first to notice the Great Earthquake coming. Though he could not possibly fathom what was soon to come, Aeson knew that his land Shoa Fraria would be forever changed.   He began to suspect the power granted by the demigod Manos, which was not as pure as all had believed. Even with the help of the other two disciples, Aeson knew that the demonic power used by Manos could not be stopped. At night, he received a vision: a great panther came to him and told him to sail north as far as possible.   Curious, he did as was instructed, and met the leaders of the outlander forces of the dwarfes.

Intellectual Characteristics

Aeson is a wise and stalwart leader. He has a fatherly air about him, and takes great pleasure in guiding people to discover insights about themselves and the environment around them. He prefers not to solve problems directly for individuals, or to give completely thorough answers, but rather provide useful hints and advice so that others may achieve discovery on their own.

Morality & Philosophy

He is grateful to the dwarfes for their assistance to build La Serine and welcomes visitors of all races with open arms.   Visitors who display a proper respect for the natural environment and its inhabitants will be greeted warmly by Aeson. He welcomes outsiders for short periods of time with offers of shelter and sustenance. However, Shoa Fraria is the sacred home of the elves, and Aeson does not appreciate or tolerate prolonged visits by members of the other races. Emissaries and adventurers are occasionally welcome, but settlers and those who attempt to wrest profit from the land are expelled immediately.
