Orisinium

Diplomatic action

Avverion arrives at Orisinium and is able to successfully recruit the orcs in opposition to Veliuona. He reunites with Lilinith, seeing the Black Ash Plains before they join the river convoy as it sails down the Krovitya.   Meanwhile, Hrad Vidlik prepares for a siege.

Arriving at Orisinium, Avverion is able to earn the respect of one of the major priests of Gond Greensteel, the god of the forge among orcish culture. It is with this clout Avverion is able to seek an audience with the Council of the Tusks, where he stands alongside Lilinith and is able to convince the Council of the existential threat of the dragon riders. Together again, the couple takes a joy ride through the Black Ash Plains, going as far as Crater Lake. Over the next few days they wait for the orcish military to rally and board their ferries to take the Krovitya River to Hrad Vidlik where the battle of Masovia will come to a head.   In Masovia, Theyosten's brother who was one of the defenders at Ackerland is brought wounded along with the ragged fragments of the vanguard, most suffering severe burn wounds. Theyosten uses the Black Heart of the Night Hag as a means of healing him. The Ondava River has developed a hydra problem that needs clearing up to allow access for the Masovians to ferry from Dawnbreak Bridge to Hrad Vidlik, something our heroes are more than capable of.
