A Barge Up the Krovitya River

Expedition

Leaving Cael'akadi as hired guards for a shipment up river, your task is to ensure a large shipment of foodstuffs is delivered to Orisinium. The party's employer plans to trade the goods for a shipment of Green Steel, a precious rare metal that can only be found around Orisinium. After 8 days of travel, the group has arrived in the hamlet of West Krasta.

A disparate band of hired hands is of little consequence in the City of Bridges, easy to come across, and the pay is decent for a job of labor. As such, the adventurers make their way up the sluggish Krovitya River. Passing through the Melisari Woodlands, and up through the low country of Veliuona, it takes nearly a week's travel for the party to reach their first day's stop of respite in Riverest, within the borders of the Republic of Istria.   The very next day, a planned stop to stockpile is averted at Svetigrad. The city looks to have been put to the torch, with smoke rising over the mountain horizons of Masovian countryside. Quickly with daylight fading, the party moors on the riverbank and sets up camp. After their dinner is interrupted with a battle with a Chuul, a night's rest is in order in the cold open air of Istria in winter.   With another day's travel up the river, the party reaches West Krasta, and hunker down for the evening to get some relaxation in before they make the long push to Orisinium.
