Discovering that the Shadowcat is prowling the waters around the Bulwark Isles, Jake Silkwood is within striking distance of getting his ship back. Chartering a paticularly gunho privateer aboard the Sojourn, the party set sail for the Isles and await the pirate vessel to find them. Upon meeting, an intense battle rages on the deck of the Sojourn, ending with Jake recovering the captainship of the Shadowcat. And now the party sails into the sunset to Nerthus.

Arriving at Lutsk, the party finds themselves in the largest most bustling town yet, one primarily dominated by the rough and tumble sailor crowd. With the news that the Shadowcat has been spotted and is a short week away by sea, the party wastes no time in recruiting a privateer, along with some supplemental crew to take down the pirate vessel.   After arriving at the island, the Sojourn moors itself on a sandbar, making itself the perfect target for some opportunistic pirates. Another week passes with no sight, until a foggy morning when the black sails are spotted approaching the ship. The Shadowcat is armed with a focusing lens, able to burn holes through ships with only the morning sun. With a skilled shot, they are able to dismantle the beam, and draw the Shadowcat in. She deploys her crew in rowboats to take the fight to the Sojourn, and Akvor brings the fight to an entire boat on his own. Meanwhile Avverion teams up with Theyosten on the middle deck, Karith and Jake at the quarterdeck. After an intense battle, the crew moves onto the deck of the Shadowcat and takes it.    The Sojourn relieved of its task, it follows the Shadowcat to the ports of Nerthus, on their next adventure.
