Elean Moon Elf
Often mistaken for Shadow Elf by the uninformed, Moon Elves are the secretive subrace of elvenkind that dwell deep within the forests, hidden out of sight from all but the most perceptive and brave explorers. Moon Elves live in carefully hidden villages, usually in deeply shaded parts of the forest, though their temples and other religious sites typically are built in clearings where they can be bathed in the open moonlight.
Moon Elves are the descendant of the elf that lost the "war of the sisters", the elven civil war that take place many millennia ago. Defeated and hunted for their faith, the elf followers of Sela run from the old Elven Empire taking refuge in the frozen north, where they settled in the dark and dangerous coniferus forests.
Moon elves have more purple skin than their other kin, ranging from light lavender to dark violet, though light shades of blue are not uncommon Their hair typically ranges from a multitude of strange colors, with the most common being aqua, white, green and dark blue.
As part of their culture, moon elves often tattoo their face with simple patterns, and pierce their ears with intricate silver jewelry.
Moon elves, like their Shadow Elf cousins, typically live in a matriarchal society, with both men and women commonly serving as soldiers, female taking magical and leadership roles, while men typically take up druidcraft, and serve as spiritual leaders.
Their fealty to Sela, Goddess of the Moon often get rewarded by a Licantropy ability, where the Moon elf can choose to mantain their mind and control their actions or lose themselves in the revel of their animal form. This ability is ereditary, but recessive. This way children of were people need to prove themself before Sela to have their birthright activated.

Standard Racial Traits
An Elean Moon Elf character has a variety of natural abilities, the result of thousands of years of elven refinement.- Age. Although elves reach physical maturity at about the same age as humans, the elven understanding of adulthood goes beyond physical growth to encompass worldly experience. An elf typically claims adulthood and an adult name around the age of 100 and can live to be 750 years old.
- Alignment. Moon Elves love freedom, variety, and self-expression, more than all other elfkind, so they lean strongly toward aspects of chaos. Giving in to their inner desire and passion often push them over to the Evil side.
- Size. Elves range from under 150cm to over 180cm tall and have slender builds. A Elean elf size is Medium.
- Speed. An Elf base walking speed is 6 Hx.
- Darkvision. Accustomed to live and worship under the night sky, Elean Elf have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 12Hx of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Keen Senses. +2 racial bonus on Listen, Search, and Spot checks. An elf who merely passes within 1 Hx of a secret or concealed door is entitled to a Search check to notice it as if she were actively looking for it.
- Fey Ancestry. Immunity to magic sleep effects, and a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells or effects.
- Trance. Elves don't need to sleep. Instead, they meditate deeply, remaining semiconscious, for 4 hours a day. (The Common word for such meditation is “trance.”) While meditating, you can dream after a fashion; such dreams are actually mental exercises that have become reflexive through years of practice. After resting in this way, you gain the same benefit that a human does from 8 hours of sleep.
Moon Elf
- Ability Score Increase: +2 wisdom, +1 intelligence -1 strength: Moon elves have brilliant senses and have quick minds. They often are aloof and aren't very social and like most elves are not terribly strong.
- Bathed in Moonlight: All Moon Elves are proficient in the Stealth skill. In addition, they can attempt to hide while only obscured by dim light.
- Elf Weapon Training. A Moon elf have proficiency with all the weapons with "Elven Training" trait.
- Lunar Magic. Moon Elves know the minor illusion cantrip. When they reach 3rd level, they can cast sleep as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when they finish a long rest. When they reach 5th level, they can cast the moonbeam spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when they finish a long rest. Charisma is their spellcasting ability for these spells.
