Born of Vitale

Being Born of Vitale is defined as being created by Elan Vitale. Some of those Born of Vitale are simply created and are unique while others have become their own species, able to reproduce, such as Dragons or Faeries.

The Kixno are unique with regard to being Born of Vitale. Kixno are the only known species to have a sub-species which is Born of Vitale while also having sub-species which are not Born of Vitale. The Mythical Kixno are all considered to be Born of Vitale while other Kixno are considered to be normal and not Born of Vitale. The Mythical Kixno can also reproduce with their normal counterparts as well, although there is no known way to guarantee a Mythical Kixno birth, as this is up to chance.

Some believe that everyone is technically Born of Vitale, as Elan Vitale is hypothesized to be the origin of all life. Although, being Born of Vitale is defined as being a creature with magical capabilities such as Dragons or Faeries and able to use magic without drawing upon Vital Essence.

The Mythical Kixno yet again are unique in this aspect. The Mythical Kixno are able to utilize their mythical powers, which come from the mythical creature they represent without using their Vital Essence, as well as being able to use their Vital Essence to create magic and spells. However, Mythical Kixno can only use healing magic when utilizing their Vital Essence and cannot enhance their physical abilities.
