Hagyara

Hagyara is one of the most populated city-states of the Kryros burrow society, its abundant access to subterranean waters makes it one of the most hospitable. It is also called the city of light because of the abundant magical crystals that illuminate the entire city. It connects by train with Kyorka and Astadvl and has an ongoing project to make a train to Varadr.

Government

Like the typical underground city is governed by its Council of the Guilds and is structured alongside the following guilds:

• The Caretakers Guild.
• Its Hunters Guild is one of the most active in the cities given their close location to the West Glaciers and the high activity of monsters and elementals in the surroundings.
• The Sappers Guild.
• The Gardeners Guild.
• The Crafters Guild of the city is famous for their production of porcelain, glass, and chemical products.
• The Engineering Guild
• The Urban Guild.
• The Plumbers Guild, previously part of the Urban Guild, given the importance of their tasks they have become an independent guild. They are trusted with water quality the proper drainage, plumbing, and sewage of the city.
• Ministry, the priesthood has its own guild in Hagyara.

Districts

In the centre of the city, it is the forum, where the Council of the Guilds is reunited and crowned by a watchtower. It is surrounded on the east by the residential district, which holds the Plumbers, Caretakers, and Urban guilds, structured in five store buildings in which people live, as well as schools, hospitals, and nurseries. In the north-west, there is the leisure district which holds the Hunters Guild, and the artisan quarter which holds the Crafter Guilds and a total of seven botanical gardens. On the south-west are the temple district and the Ministry headquarters as well as the research facilities.
On the outskirts, there is the alchemical sector to the west, where most of the chemical products are made and the Engineering Guild has their meeting point. On the south-east, a total of 200 glass greenhouses surround the Gardeners Guild, tasked with supplying the city with food and organic material. The train station is located on the east side of the outskirts and connects to the city the neighbouring cities and the mines, next to it is the Sappers Guild. In the east, there is a processing plant of sewage, that supplies the farms with fertilizers extracted from the wastewater.

Points of interest

There are several locations that stand out in the city. 

Leisure district

The leisure has a total of four bathhouses, popular places to spend free time and relax in communal bathtubs without gender segregation. Another location is the Board House, a building where people gather to play board games, one of the most popular is the Last Stand, a game where two players use miniatures and dice to represent a siege in which one is the defender and the other the attacker. There are also three theaters in which all kinds of spectacles are held, including music and operas. 

Artisan quarters

Aside from the several workshops, there are the Glass Greenhouses that hold the seven botanical gardens. The most impressive of all is Chiru Park, named after the engineer who constructed it. It is a 200m diameter park with a central artificial lake very popular for making picnics and some sports like playing with the ball.

Temple district

In the temple district, there can be found the Cathedral of the Mikahwu Pawanis a large chappel with shrines to each deity of the pantheon with the appropriate statue. Also, close to it, there is Lyke's Manor, a large library that holds several copies of all kinds of books that people can read there but unlike other libraries they cannot borrow them.
