King of Kantoc

The King of Kantoc is a constitutional monarch.  The king is the official, commander of the military, and the final interpreter of the laws and traditions of the land.
The king is the final interpreter of the law, but he cannot make new laws on whim.  New laws must be approved by the Council of Lords.
If the king wants to bestow landed titles above the rank of Baron, the king's appointments must be approved the Council of Lords.
