Dwarf
Dwarves were short humanoids that came to the Middleworld from the elemental planes. They are rumored to be refugees, fleeing oppression at the hands of more powerful elemental masters. If one finds a dwarfhold underground, they will only find statues residing within. The dwarves were turned to stone long ago, and apparently without warning, as their stone bodies are frozen in mid-activity.

- Created by the Titans as workers for the genies to command in shaping the stone and earth of the Ancient World.
- When the Titans slept, the dwarves broke free and escaped to the Middle World.
- The dwarves traded with surface races, including the humans and elves.
- When the dragons declared war, the dwarves allied with the humans and elves against the dragons.
- (Dragons worked with genies to trap and return the souls of the dwarves to the elemental planes) (Dragons knew better than to just let the genies into the Middle World)
