S02E43. Laying it on in Leilon Report
General Summary
After saving the town from the storm priestess, who escaped, the heroes decide to get some needed rest, and spend a few days resting and helping out around town. They meet several people and hear about the town and surrounding areas. One place their piques their interest in Idol Island where rumors tell of whispering voices offering to tell people of their future.
So, naturally they all decide to spend the night there.
Everyone experiences some sort of vision in their sleep, but two find their visions disturbing and cause them to lose sleep. When dawn comes all but those two are rested. And also when dawn comes, so does a barge with Sgt. Hazz Yorum and some soldiers. They take the group back to town (except Kanenas, who has to run/trudge through the marshwater) and he shows them to their new quarters--a nice little villa at the NE of town.
Not long after, one of the townsfolk comes knocking and begs the Stormbreakers to look into a missing persons case. One of the Neverwinter soldiers in a friend of this mason, and his patrol has not come back when expected.
When asked Sgt. Yorum claims it's probably just a delay in their return, but give the party directions if they really want to head off into the Mere to track them down. Some distance down the High Road, they find where the patrol should have headed west into the Mere, and they find signs of a struggle, and evidence that perhaps the soldiers did not fare well. There are strange and ominous tracks heading off into the Mere.
