Amon Ptah saves him with a Breath of Life. He sees a 'tall white mountain' and the Covenant, and humanity's struggle from there. As he was escorted towards the Second Death, the Marru that lurk within Sutier, awaiting a chance at their return, and they speak to him of the Submind. He does not understand their cryptic words, or the vision of the COTD. A good friendship between Zaeed and Amon begins, and Zaeed frequently asks for portents from Yel-Tor, to glimpse at what may come.
