Kuburk

"Me thinks we be in unanimous agreement that big-scales should be new village chieftain!"

--Gurpa Vur, when he named Qerlathe the Silver Dragon the Chieftain of Kuburk, in 121 BBE (-121).

Much to their creator's dismay, the kobolds proliferated in the Hundred Dagger Cove following their hatching. They have burrows and caves throughout the colder regions of the world, and commonly crop up in cold sewers or caves, though they try not to go too deep. These dragon/lizard-like beings claim descendance from dragons, are named Wandering Children by half of the world, and are seen as simple vermin to the rest.   Kuburk is their lone true settlement, which has been built up by a kind, understanding, and forgiving chieftain, the now ancient silver dragon Qerlathe, who has helped foster trade and relations with neighboring settlements, as well as turn away any raiders. The kobolds are essentially permanent toddlers to an aged and weary aunt.   The town itself is build over a river, with multiple bridges spanning it that double as buildings, there are bridge-bars, bridge-barracks, and bridge-docks, where supplies can be lowered onto ships by pulley rather than carrying them, as kobolds cannot carry much.   The city has became a haven for vikings and pirates, as anything short of murder is overlooked in the city, though one ought to be careful not to draw the attention of Qerlathe, her loyal disciples, or the Kobold Mining Coalition, who serve as the main source of reliable ore from iron to cold to Obsidian Galena throughout the Bay.

Please Gurpa. Please for me, do not steal any more children from the Reefmen...

--Qerlathe.
