The northern plains of Saramoth, vast lands of modern settlements only recently reclaimed from terrifying predators.
Geography
Bounded by the sea north and east, the Elven forest/desert to the west, and the Durnahalla mountains to the south, this sector is made up of cliffy beaches, slowly rolling hills and endless grassland.

Natural Resources
The soil here is constantly replenished by the abundant grass of the region. After thousands of years of undisturbed growth, it was almost difficult to grow crops here in the early days of colonization due to the extreme growth of all plants, including weeds, after a field is cleared. Fields must be burned to make land, the roots of native grass are almost impenetrable.
All of this suggesting that the system is not natural and was perhaps set in motion sometime in the impossibly distant past.
