Warg

Warg is a Durranian term derived from vargr, a term in an old Urskan language previously used to refer to the Direwolf, re-appropriated in reference to a creature more common among the southern hemisphere – particularly across Arekahs and, to a lesser extent, Karda. Most often known locally as kishi or crocotta, the warg is scourge-mutant which bears some similarity to a more monstrous cross between a hyena and various species of large predatory cat.
