Abram Oldridge

Archmaster Abram "Abe" Oldridge

Abram Oldridge is a figure of the Ardranian governing council, the long-time Warden of Selby, and the archmaster of the city's esteemed university. A kind-hearted but somewhat elusive figure, Oldridge is known more for his acts via policy than any more personal relations even by many members of the university and rarely encountered outside of his living quarters or his institution's extensive library.
His election to the council came more as a formality than as any real expression of democracy as it has been customary for the university's archmaster to serve the dual role of Selby's Warden in the roughly two centuries since the council's establishment. Regardless, Oldridge is held in high esteem and respect by the denizens of Selby and fellow council members alike, most of whom seem to defer to his judgement in interregional matters.
