Ghudek (GOO DECK)
The Earthshaker, the Fury Below
During the Primordial War the storm goddess Maredeth faced down a flight of the most fearsome primordial wyrms so great was her fury and so impressive her prowess that she claimed two of the wyrms as her own. Having subdued the fearsome Shinbayak, the dwarven goddess of storms attacked Ghudek who's rage melted mountains and boiled seas, gripping the beast by one of its tails that was said to be so long as to encircle Sanzeia thrice, she alternately threw the beast into the sea by day and the dark sky at night, until even its fire was little more than an ember. Thus humbled, Ghudek pledged to serve her by using its molten body to cut an endless series of passageways into the earth where the Dwarves could call home.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
The creature was said to swim through earth, and many dwarves still believe it is tunneling ever deeper into Sanzeia creating new homes and dredging up new ores in its wake. Dwarven doomsayers speak of a time when Ghudek will hollow the world completely, and in the collapse will be freed of Maredeth.
Physical Description
Body Features
Ghudek's body is said to be so hot that its has melted all it touches to form its body. According to the tales, the only part of it vulnerable was the tip of its tails, far enough removed from the core that it could be touched - at least by a goddess.
