Eofir (Ee oh fear)
Our Lady of Pain, the Suffering Goddess
Known as the youngest daughter of Ulmark, the Worldshaper and Eo, this goddess is said to have given up her life and powers to spare the Giant race from her father's wrath. She promptly disappeared in a flash of golden light.
Certain sects still venerate the goddess as a symbol of self sacrifice, saying that she appears to them in vision as a being of pure light, and that since gods cannot truly die she will return to the world when the descendants of the giants have offered up enough collective suffering to equal that of a goddess. This is considered heresy.
