Dofan is said to be among the oldest dwarven gods, second to only Hedir and Maredeth, and it was he that first taught the ancient ancestors of dwarven people to work stone and build their homes in caves and eventually cities underground. While chiefly a god of masons and stoneworkers, the connection of the craft to all facets of dwarven life, have made Dofan one of the most venerated of the dwarven deities (particularly among Khizar Dwarves.
