Cowles' Glass Slide

Received from Professor James Eagan at Schuyler Hall on New York University's campus. The delicate object was entrusted to Floyd Musgrove because of his contacts with Miskatonic University in the hopes he could return the slide to Professor Anthony Cowles, who inadvertently left it behind after a lecture on campus.

According to Cowles' Lecture Notes the slide shows an image taken during the 1921 MacWhirr expedition to the Great Sandy Desert.

When Boris viewed the slide for the first time he had a strong reaction. The image appearing to be identical a scene he saw when studying Strange Face. (See Strange Vision - Second Vision in Lima.
