Sister Edna
Mother Wife Edna Howell
Edna Howell grew up as a rancher and eventually inherited the family operation when she became Mother Wife. Unfortunatley the ranch's days were numbered, a fact she soon realized when she began looking over the finances. To keep her family safe, she sold off the operation to Old Man Jedson keeping only the small plot of land that held her family's home.
She still considers herself disgraced due to the loss of the ranch. In the months that followed, she signed on for a drive to Claystown hoping to convince the Old Man to eventually sell back part of her ranch.
As Mother Wife she is very strict with her husbands, but kind toward her wives. She is devout in her faith and leads her family in all the required daily prayers. Over the years she has given birth to eighteen children, three of which passed early in life.
