A Rankan force of four legions destroys the llsig army during a 4 day battle at Almolor. This is the culminating field battle of the Ilsig-Ranke War, and ends all hope of survival for the Ilsig Empire, although it takes the Rankans two more years to pacify the remaining Ilsig territories in Vanareon enough to start to lay siege to the city itself, which holds out for another 12 years.
