Session 021: Report

General Summary

As you opened the shaking cupboard, you were attacked by the rotting skin of a long-dead man, which enveloped Djura in its clammy embrace. The ensuing noises of struggle attracted the attention of a group of ghouls, who swarmed from the sewage tunnel and began to tear at you with fang and claw.
The room was filled with viscera and the smell of death as you began to dispatch the undead one by one. Theo could do little except watch the bloodbath, his body paralyzed by the cursed claws of the ghoulish attacker. Eventually, the undead were forced to flee, none managed to escape your onslaught.
Left exhausted and rattled by the combat, you decided it was best to retreat and lick your wounds before delving any further. You left behind the cold and pungent embalming room and were once again met by the warm, sunny riverside, where your mounts awaited you as you left them, safe and content.
You made camp, and began to prepare for your next delve into the catacombs. As night fell, unsettling, tortured howls could be heard coming from the catacombs, causing your horses to snort and whinny in panic. And as the last rays of the sun left the hills, the voices began to quickly approach you...
