Session 010: Report

General Summary

With the dire wolves dead at your feet, you quickly decided to make the best of the situation. The bodies were still warm when you finished your gory business of skinning and butchering the beasts, and you were left with a handsome amount of meat and hides to sell.
You rested for a few more hours before you departed again with your prisoners and loot in tow. With only a dozen miles to Stonewell and the day ahead of you, you traveled with confidence and quickly reached the town, hidden between the craggy cliffs of the Twilight's Teeth Mountains.
Anai Drumwind, the lieutenant in charge of the local guard garrison thanked you for your service and the supplies you brought. She rewarded you with magical items, and asked for your help with several problems the settlement has been facing lately. You decided to tackle the issue of the Old Mine first, where a monster has allegedly made its lair.
The guards at the mine's entrance asked you to look for their friend Pera, who had foolishly entered the mine after being provoked by his friends to do so. And so, you delved into the old silver mine, following the long, winding tunnel into the depths of the mountain. You reached the end of the mine shaft, where you found a cavernous hole, which had recently been broken through the stone. Behind it lay a hallway of smooth stone, dark and desolate.
