Purple team
The Purples are one of the four main teams in goat racing in addition the Yellows, Blues and Greens. They originate in Arensande.
History
The Purples are latecomers to the competition, who rose to the success after the traditional Yellow and Red teams. They briefly dominated the racing scene after introducing the Spotted Lightning breed to the competition. It took a while for the traditionalist teams, the Blues and Yellows, to gain access to the breeding stock, but once they did, their superior funding (coming from the clerical and senatorial classes) returned them to the main players of the sport.Strategy
