The Lunar Alliance, along with most other nations in Sagrea, declare war on the Atlantean Zealots. The Zealots use mind control to overwrite personalities and recruit more soldiers.

With Bellphast's attack thwarted, almost every country in the world declares war on the Atlantean Zealots. Knowing their forces are much too small to face the entire planet, they begin kidnapping hundreds of thousands of people of various races and rewriting their personalities to gain soldiers.   From here, the Moonlit Crusades begin, with the Zealots focusing their crosshairs on Lunaria the most because of their belief that Lunarism is the most insulting to them. Battlegrounds form at an infrequent rate all over Sagrea as the world fights against them.
