Life, Trauma/ Loss
The nation of Benito discovers Nimue's heritage and attempts to cast her out. She is forced to separate from her parents and live in a house within the wetlands.
Some things can't stay a secret forever, it seems. Nimue's ancestry of being fathered by an incubus is discovered and she is forced to run away from home before she is lynched. She creates a home for herself out of a large tree within the wetlands. After some time, however, travelers from Benito decide to forego the lynching in favor of her selling magic potions. At least with this gesture, she is able to manage surviving her isolation.
