Lunite and Sparks

Sagrea's universal form of currency. The names derive from both the moon, an icon of Lunarism, and sparks of light respectively. However, much like the contrast of night and day, the currencies are only usable on the side of the world they originated in. For example, this means that lunite is usable only in Frigus' side of the world, while sparks are only usable in Aestus' side. Lunite and sparks have typically been used in the form of coins since their inception, but paper money was introduced near the beginning of the Umbral Cycle in order to represent more value.   Each unit has its own design based on the type and amount of money it represents.   Lunite Coins are silver coins with a purple hued rim. The center of the coin has an image of a crescent moon, with the amount of money it represents displayed below it. When in the form of paper money, they have a purple hue with an image of a moon on the banknote's right side, with the phase of the moon becoming more full as the value rises. The monetary value of the banknote itself is displayed on the top right and bottom left corners with the top right number being much larger in size to add emphasis. Often referred to as "lunes" in slang terms. Its abbreviation regardless of form is LC.   Sparks are gold coins used on the opposite side of the world. Unlike lunite, the center of these coins have an image of a sun, but still have the amount of money it represents displayed below it. When in the form of paper money, they have a goldenrod color with the image of a sun in the center of the bill. The banknote's monetary value is displayed on all four corners of the bill. Often referred to as "sols" in slang terms. Its abbreviation regardless of form is SC.   The coin values range from 1-100, typically in units of five (35, 70, etc). The bill values range from 50 to 1000, commonly seen in units of 50 (50, 100, etc) for the sake of saving space. While the coins themselves have a size proportional to their value, they never exceed one inch in diameter.
