High Sentinel Guards of the Dracunum Order

The High Sentinel Guards of the Dracunum Order is the organization of elite guards and watchmen who protect the high Chancellor of Dracunum.
These sentinels act as watchman, building security, and the personal guards of the high Chancellor. As the leader of the most worshiped faith on the Sagadorm, these soldiers have gone through a rigorous training to allow them to reach these high levels of trust and ability.
Within the Sentinel guards, there are many divisions that have specialized roles.
Generally speaking, the jurisdiction of the high Centennial guards is the ferry council territory within tray Linea's. There are police forces outside of the ferry grounds but these rarely come onto the grounds that are often considered independent of true Linea's.
Each division with in the high Sentinel guards is named after a part of a Dragon that relates to their function. Wing patrol: the sentinels responsible for guarding the outer walls and patrolling and ensuring there is no intrusion from outside. Claw patrol: the sentinels responsible for direct combat and train heavily for combat. This is the patrol called when the wing patrol alerts them of an intruder. Eye patrol: the sentinels who are directly responsible for the protection of the high Chancellor and other selected dignitaries. This is the the most trained and respected soldiers of all Sentinel guards. Most were members of the claw patrol who advanced in rank and skill sufficient to protect the high Chancellor.
The Sentinel guards have their origins in the beginning days of the tray Linea's settlement by Vola the first. As a group of rag tag farmers that escaped from from North Harbor, some of the larger worked as guards against the wild animals they encountered on the island. As the population grew so did the need for protection. Also there were more people to divide labor.
Eventually, the central city became large enough that a full-time militia was required. While many of the security in the city was provided by volunteers, there was definitely a soldier class building within the society.
