Physical Description
General Physical Condition
The Nightwatcher's true form is unknown. He usually appears as a smoky black cloud that settles over the land. As one progresses toward the center, it becomes darker and darker, and then, one leaves the world entirely and enter a demiplane that the Nightwatcher fully controls. This is where the Nightwatcher truly resides. The black cloud is just the power from the demiplane leaking into Saeveroth. The Nightwatcher speaks to creatures in this plane, who are fully subjugated to his will.
Special abilities
The Nightwatcher's full abilities are unknown. He seems to be able to reshape reality on small scales, and to infect reality with the Shadow. In fact, many of the world's features, like the Shadowspawn, the Arsaki, and the world itself outside a Radiant Domes has been altered by the Shadow.

Personal history
No one knows much about the Nightwatcher. They know that he is the force that sends the Shadowspawn and caused the Breaking of the World. He came to this world about 2,000 years ago, and the Breaking of the World soon followed.

From the few who have spoken with the Nightwatcher and have lived to tell the tale, he is extremely logical and able to think circles around you. His plans are incomprehensible, and he sees others as inferior.

Motivation
No one knows the plans the Nightwatcher. Even his most trusted allies can't fully comprehend him. The Nightwatcher attacks the Radiant Domes and seems determined to recreate the world in the image of the Shadow.
Likes & Dislikes
Like the Shadowspawn, the Nightwatcher cannot abide the Light. He seeks to destroy it, rending anything that is of the Light apart and replacing it with Shadow.

Contacts & Relations
The Nightwatcher has several organizations working for him. The Taintcasters of the Arsaki among them. The Shadowspawn are also controlled by him. But all of these organizations are branches of the secretive Eclipse, the name for the organization that brings about the Nightwatcher's goals.

The Nightwatcher can convince you of anything. For this reason, Arsaki Darkhunters magically stop their ears before entering the Darklands and communicate by a telepathy spell.

The Nightwatcher can sound like anything, even those you trust most. But the voice that he uses in his demiplane is a booming voice that hisses and generally makes the person he is talking to feel terrified and knee-weak.
