Personal history

Iscarion's personal history is marked by a series of pivotal events that shaped him into the formidable general he became before his defeat and subsequent exile. Born into a noble family in the heart of the Drakonis Empire, Iscarion was raised with a sense of duty and honor. From a young age, he displayed a natural affinity for combat and a thirst for knowledge about the martial arts.   Under the tutelage of skilled mentors, Iscarion honed his skills in swordsmanship and battle strategy. He possessed an innate talent for analyzing complex situations and devising cunning tactics, earning him recognition as a prodigious military mind. As he grew older, Iscarion quickly rose through the ranks, distinguishing himself in various campaigns and earning the respect of his peers.   His rise to prominence coincided with a time of escalating tensions between the Drakonis Empire and the rival Exileon Empire. Iscarion's strategic brilliance and unwavering loyalty caught the attention of the Drakonis Emperor, who appointed him as a general to lead their forces against the Exileon threat. Iscarion became a symbol of the empire's might, known for his unyielding resolve and tactical genius.   However, the tides of fate turned against Iscarion during a crucial battle against the Exileon Empire, the Battle of Storms End. Despite his meticulous planning and the valiant efforts of his troops, Iscarion's forces were ultimately overwhelmed by a combination of unforeseen circumstances and the enemy's superior strategy and so the Coming Storm met his match. The defeat was devastating, not only in terms of military losses but also for the blow it dealt to Iscarion's reputation and the confidence of the Drakonis Empire.   The Emperor, in a mixture of disappointment and fury, held Iscarion responsible for the defeat and saw it as a stain on the empire's honor. As a result, Iscarion was stripped of his rank, titles, and privileges and sentenced to exile. It was a punishment meant to serve as a reminder of the cost of failure and to remove Iscarion from the empire's sight.   The weight of failure and the loss of everything he held dear weighed heavily on Iscarion's heart. But rather than succumbing to despair, he chose to embrace his exile as an opportunity for redemption. He wandered the world, seeking knowledge and training in various martial disciplines. Isolated from his homeland, Iscarion faced numerous challenges and setbacks, but his unwavering determination and unyielding spirit kept him going.   During his exile, Iscarion delved into the mysteries of the Aura, exploring its potential and unlocking hidden depths of power within himself. He sought guidance from Aura masters and studied ancient texts to understand the true nature of this mystical energy. Fifty years he had spent in deep constant meditation closing himself off from the physical world. The years of solitude and self-reflection allowed Iscarion to evolve not only as a warrior but also as a person, transcending the narrow focus of military strategy to become a more holistic and enlightened individual.

Ordo Drakonis

Iscarion's journey within the Dragon Knights began as a promising young recruit, displaying remarkable talent and dedication. He quickly rose through the ranks, mastering various martial techniques and demonstrating an uncanny ability to channel the power of the dragons through the Aura. His commitment to his training and his unwavering loyalty to the empire earned him the recognition and respect of his peers and superiors.   The Storm Dragon Hadune would deem Iscarion worthy of forming a pact, something considered sacred to the Drakonis. This pact would grant him immense power and mastery over storms which would earn him the moniker, the Coming Storm   With each successful mission and display of valor, Iscarion's reputation grew within the ranks of the Dragon Knights. His skill as a swordsman, combined with his strategic brilliance, marked him as one of the most promising candidates for the position of Grandmaster. Eventually, after years of arduous training and countless battles, Iscarion ascended to the esteemed rank of the 49th Grandmaster of the Dragon Knights.   As the Grandmaster, Iscarion led the Dragon Knights with unwavering dedication and a deep sense of responsibility. He was entrusted with upholding the order's values and traditions while safeguarding the Drakonis Empire against its enemies. Iscarion's leadership instilled a sense of discipline and honor within the ranks of the Dragon Knights, and he became an inspiration to those who followed him.   However, Iscarion's tenure as Grandmaster was marred by the fateful battle of Storms' end, which resulted in his defeat and subsequent exile. Despite his skill and strategic acumen, the odds proved insurmountable, leading to the tarnishing of Iscarion's legacy and his fall from grace.   Despite this defeat, Iscarion's association with the Dragon Knights and his role as their Grandmaster remained an integral part of his personal history. The legacy of the Dragon Knights, with its history of valor and heroism, continued to shape Iscarion's character and influence his path to redemption. The reverence for Iscarion by Aura masters and swordsmen can be attributed, in part, to his position as the Grandmaster of the Dragon Knights and the legacy of honor and martial prowess associated with the order.

Final Ordeal

As the Drakonis Empire faced its most dire threat yet, an ancient malevolent force known as Malgorthar rose from the depths of darkness. Malgorthar, a colossal and sinister being with immense power, sought to plunge the world into eternal chaos and subjugate all realms under its dominion. It had already led the orcs of Drothal on a rampage across Opirion having bent their king to his will.   Aware of the impending danger, Iscarion rallied the forces of the Drakonis Empire, knowing that this battle would be their greatest test. He led his troops with unwavering resolve, strategizing tirelessly to find a way to confront and defeat Malgorthar. The battle raged on for days, with countless lives lost and the future of the region hanging in the balance.   In the climactic moment, Iscarion, having exhausted every plan and resource at his disposal, realized that a direct confrontation with Malgorthar was the only option left. With his legendary prowess and the power of his pact with the Storm Dragon Hadune, Iscarion confronted the dark entity in an epic clash that shook the very foundations of the land.   The battle was fierce, with titanic forces colliding and the sky ablaze with unleashed power. Iscarion fought with unmatched determination, exploiting every ounce of his skill and utilizing his pact with Hadune to channel the elemental might of storms against Malgorthar. They clashed with devastating force, each blow echoing across the battlefield.   Despite Iscarion's extraordinary valor, the power of Malgorthar proved overwhelming. In a final act of self-sacrifice, Iscarion unleashed a cataclysmic strike, channeling the full extent of his aura and the Storm Dragon's power. The resulting explosion of energy shook the battlefield, engulfing Iscarion and Malgorthar in a blinding surge of light.   When the dust settled, Iscarion lay lifeless, having given everything he had to protect his nation. His sacrifice had dealt a significant blow to Malgorthar, weakening the malevolent force and allowing the combined forces of the Drakonis Empire, Orelion, Takria, and Exileon to ultimately prevail in the battle, bringing the War of Red Sands to a conclusion.   Iscarion's death became a symbol of heroism and selflessness, forever etching his name in the annals of history. He was mourned by his allies and revered by generations to come, celebrated as a true martyr who had given his life for the greater good and the defense of his people. His legacy served as a reminder of the indomitable spirit of sacrifice and the lengths to which one can go to protect what they hold dear.
