Sanctum of Leigha

History

The Sanctum of Leigha is the great healing temple of the Kingdom of Leighem. It was founded by the religious group, the Sisters of Leigha who were the first few that possessed natural healing magic, believed to be descendants and the first students of the Deity of Healing, Leigha. The Sisters were tasked to share their healing abilities with the rest of Rysidor and to teach those who would willing seek out and serve as a Sister.

During the time before the Great War, the Sisters accepted the advanced teachings of Pure Magic in healing, blessings and divinity by Kariye Faenan, one of the First Seven. Kariye Faenan was believed to be the reincarnated deity. During the Great War, some of the Sisters joined Kariye and the army of Leighem as field medics.

The Sanctum of Leigha is one of the oldest and most well known healing temples of Rysidor. Its members consist of women who have the affinity for Pure Magic and take a vow to devote their life to the teachings of the Sisters. The Sanctum of Leigha is a healing temple, open to all those are in need of aid.
