Specialties
Specialties are professions your character learns their abilities and powers from. There are currently three specialties to choose from, each with their own specialties to choose from.
Arcane Specialists
Arcane Specialists, or more commonly Arcane Users, are some of the most powerful beings on Rularo. They are able to control the laws of nature, space and time, and even other people. Although it is possible to manipulate Arcane energy with extensive training, Arcane Users are often born.
Sage
The Sage is capable of manipulating space and time using Arcane fractures to weave their own fates.
Nexus
A Nexus is able to use Arcane magic to connect their mind to another's, be it beast or another person.
Surge
The most deadly and unpredictable of Arcane Users, Surges use sudden bursts of raw excess Arcane magic in the area to do varying effects. Those born as a Surge are often exiled or killed as their excess Arcane energy is so dangerous they are not able to live in society.
Melee Specialists
The Melee Specialist is the most common specialty. Melee Specialists make up the bulk of armies, city guards, mercenary guilds, militias, and any other profession that requires a sword in hand.
Knight
The Knight is the most common, combining a balance of swordsmanship and shield use with excellent armor.
Sentinel
Often seen on the front lines or royal guards for nobility, Sentinels are heavily armored usually complimented with long reaching spears.
Gladiator
Quick, lightly armored, and very deadly. The Gladiator is the choice for those wanting to dispatch many foes as quickly as possible.
Ranged Specialists
Much like the Melee Specialists, Ranged Specialists are popular and plentiful. Often times seen partaking in solo work, Ranged Specialists compliment Melee Specialists as they are able to pick off weaker adversaries before they can become a greater threat.
Warden
One of the only Ranged Specialists that are able to use melee weapons as well as ranged weapons. Wardens are the most versatile specialists.
Archer
Quick with light armor and a bow, Archers are the quintessential ranged specialist.
Crackshot
Crackshots use stealth and subterfuge to defeat their enemies from afar.
Focuses
If specialties are your profession, then your focuses are your interests and hobbies. They give your character added bonuses that may not normally be apart of a specialty, such as Two Handed Mastery as a Arcane Specialist, or being an Entertainer and a Knight.
Combat Focuses
Weapons Experts are well individuals that have been trained to use any type of weapon.
Civilian Focuses
Entertainer
Among the most sought after the Entertainer can be seen on stage with a roaring crowd and applause, or out on the field keeping their fellow troops's morale high.
