The Dream Plane lies at the innermost layer of its planisphere, connected innately with the Arcana and Vault planes, and it is known by a host of names that fail to truly understand its nature.
To understand the nature of the Dream Plane, one must first understand that the energies of the Plane flash and spark in the mind, connecting intelligent creatures to a pool of information beyond their ability to grasp without that connection, but that these energies exist in an unrestricted state of flux within their native plane.
Demiurge
When the planes converged, the roiling sea of Dream felt the influence of foreign Rays, catalysing the manifestation of concepts that exert incredible power upon the Dream that surrounds them. These Demiurges, tangles of thought, emotion and other energies, reshape the world around them on a whim, and though often content to be left alone to wander their imaginations, sometimes take a very dangerous interest in passersby, leaving madness, hollowed husks or twisted mutants in their wake as often as they leave treasures, knowledge and tranquility.
Examples of these might be such figures as Ialbaloth the Wishmaker, Salaka the Inventor, Agathos the Heartsick and more.
Urges
Minor manifestations of simple to moderate complexity, the Urges are embodiments of such emotions as Anger, Joy, Fear, Melancholy, Spite, Love and more. Urges can be quite powerful, especially if others call its constituent emotions - becoming afraid of Fear will strengthen the Urge, fighting Anger with rage in your heart will restore the Urge.
Delusions
Delusions are reflections of thoughts and emotions brought to the Dream, usually by extraplanar travellers, spun of suppressed emotions, personal secrets and ongoing deceptions that often adopt a malevolent disposition in response to the jarring circumstances of their creation. They will seek to corrupt or disperse other denizens of the Dream, and could either seek to undo the disturbed emotions that led to its manifestation and be released, or to set them firmly in the heart to ensure its ongoing existence, depending on the individual.
