The World Tree
The World Tree...has reportedly been standing since The All Mother first set foot on this realm. The humans call it Yggdrasil and before them the dragons called it The World Pillar. For us though, it is so many many things all wrapped up in one awe inspiring structure. It is said that this the embodiment of The All Mother, the source of life for our realm, and it is most certainly the home of one of her daughters.
There has been many attempts made to take or destroy the great tree, but that isn't the end of it. Others have tried to prevert what the World Tree is. Ultimately they have all failed, she stands there still, tall, proud, and as magnificent as ever.
Geography
The World Tree is roughly located in the center of a series of islands. The largest of these islands is the home of this magnificent example of Life. Immediately surrounding it is a dense forest with ponds and streams teaming with life, with water said so pure that they can heal any injury.
Fauna & Flora
The Brionathi are those that tend to reside closest to The World Tree. All species have shown their interest and/or shown their respect to the great tree, but usually settle on the surrounding islands.
Some of the elves have made settlements here, where they grow their grand sailing vessels.
Natural Resources
What resources can't be found here? After all you have the wood from the trees, a wide variety of herbs, the minerals in the earth, and the rich soil for crops. The multitude of animals that walk, crawl, fly, slither, or swim which make these islands their home. Lastly, you have the waters which are said to be a wellspring of properties.
