Sunridge

A large village of Aarakocra people situated right behind the Sunset Cliffs. Sunridge is the largest Aarakocra village in Rove, though some of the large cities may have a higher total Aarakocra population. It is situated in a location that is practically inaccessible to landwalkers, but perfect for those with the power of flight. It is incredibly high up, which would usually make it difficult to reach, but the geography of the sunset cliffs makes updrafts common, so the Aarakocra people just ride those up to the top. On the other hand, it makes it easy for them to see and glide down to any city in Rumoroé. Additionally, the cliff protects Sunridge from storms.
The downsides of this location are the climate and access during storms. The top of the mountains is cold, and not much grows there. The Aarakocra have to fly down to do any kind of hunting. While the storms never reach the other side of the cliffs, they can sometimes gather along the ridge and make it difficult to return home.
