Noonshade

A city located right at the foot of the Sunset Cliffs. It gets its name because the cliffs are so close and sheer, the city is hidden from the sun until it directly overhead. Because of this, the city has fewer hours of daylight than normal cities, and people tend to wake up later, earning them the reputation of being lazy.
One of the main attractions of Noonshade is the rock climbing company. They take people to scale the Sunset Cliffs with the aid of their expert climbers. It’s rare to reach the top, but still a fun experience and a great view. They use unique climbing gear equipped with small sails to take advantage of the updrafts at the cliff. They’re not enough for a creature to fly up, but it makes it easier to climb.
