Marianna Woods
Dense and untouched by much else than the National Park Service (the one time that they came by to build trails almost 20 years ago and left them to be reclaimed by nature), the Marianna Woods surround Roseland and bring to the forefront the isolation of the small town.
Ellocaine River and Old Mill Road cut right through it, and once upon a time the only way to get any sort of trade in or out of Roseland was by braving Old Mill Road and cutting through Marianna.
It's frequented by hikers and outdoorsmen, but it is warned that inexperienced naturalists not wander too far from home.
