Baron Draven Vasquez ap Dougal is the baron of the Barony of Aspen Pines, and is a kind ruler, if a bit distractible. An autumn sidhe who pours his mortal gifts into his work, Vasquez spends most of his time not in his workshop lording over a court of harvest and laughter.

Like all members of House Dougal, Duke Draven is physically malformed. His left arm is made of glass, with gold-copper alloy mechanisms that tick away quietly inside of their protective casing. It's as beautiful and intricate as it is functional.
In addition, he has a matching rapier, gifted to him upon his ascension to the rulership of Roseland and the surrounding county.

Personal history
Born in Alberta, Canada, Draven Vasquez came from a large family of self-starters and do-it-yourselfers, learning from an early age how to lay tile and replace a spark plug. It is supposed that this is why his chrysalis was so late (he was already out of college by the time he entered into the Dream Dance - almost 26!), but Baron Vasquez will not hear a word against his upbringing or circumstances. In fact, he prides himself on only knowing about his dual identity after he was an adult. He claims it gives him perspective and understanding that is lacked by other fae who have known of their true selves since they were tots.
Still, he was shunned by most of the sidhe for being "too much" like the commoners or worse, the humans, but Vasquez did what he always did: rolled up his sleeves and got to work.
Not only was he a craftsman to make the nockers jealous, but he also had a strange talent for being instantly likeable. Of course, all sidhe hold claim to that title, but most sidhe could only keep up the act until they opened their mouths and the superiority came spilling out. Vasquez, for his part, was able to make friends in both high and low places, and having the boggans as his allies was truly one of the best things that could have happened to him - for when the last baron of the Barony of Aspen Pines was dethroned due to a scandalous affair with a local Dreamer considered to be off limits by order of the duchess of the Duchy of Sunstone (Oregon). The head housekeeper of the duchess's estate put in a good word for him; and the army of friends he had made amongst the commoners lead to him having a landslide selection amongst the other, more experienced candidates.
Again, he was accused of being too much like the common folk, but who ever said that was such a bad thing?

Relationship Reasoning
Hannah and Draven both enjoy working with their hands - both craftsmen of metal and glass - but it's more than that. While their methods differ, both find the other as admirable in their attempts to make the world a better place. Hannah thinks that Draven's soft, diplomatic hand is warm and comforting in a way that she can never be, and Draven sees Hannah as having the ferocity and tenacity that escape him.
