Personal history
Thomasin was born in the small city of Didehol on the border of Ovolyn and Orzhance. Thomasin's father was originally from the Khronid Empire, but had to flee due to the undesirable conditions of his town following the ravishes of warmongers that the emperor failed to deal with. Her mother is a native to Ovolyn, having lived in Vose for a long time, before moving to Didehol with her husband to work as an architect in the developing city. Thomasin also has a younger brother, Elgar.
Alongside growing up hearing her father's stories of the corrpution of the Khronid Empire, Thomasin was acutely aware of the poverty and discrimination that was occurring in the city around her, and in Ovolyn as well. During school, she started a campaign to create more inclusive classroom space for students of different sizes, and fundraised to support the campaign.

Education
Thomasin was educated in a local school in Didehol, which was developing into a school of good repute during her time there. When joining, the school was fairly new and lacked a lot of resources and equipment. It also wasn't properly designed for the diversity of students in the diverse borderland city. However, partly due to Thomasin's campaigning, the school had much improved by her last year, and provided her a good educational background for further study.
Thomasin is currently a third-year student at Kireth, Institute of the Arcane. She attends Sylnan College and is taught primarily by Professor Daelphori and Professor Osteler. Thomasin is a recipient of the Unity Scholarship. This year, she is taking War and Justice; The Khronid State: Histories and Theories; and is writing her dissertation on 'The Effects of Migration Policy and Law on Immigration'.
Taboos
- Disrespect for Social Justice: Growing up in a family that witnessed both the harshness of the Khronid Empire and the discrimination in Ovolyn, Thomasin developed a strong aversion to injustice. She cannot tolerate overt displays of prejudice or inequality, especially regarding issues of race, gender, or class. Her father's stories of the empire’s corruption and oppression shaped her moral compass, and she is quick to call out discriminatory behavior, even at the risk of alienating others.
- Disregarding Responsibilities: Thomasin is extremely duty-bound and dedicated to her role as Student Body President. She holds herself and others to high standards and sees it as a personal affront if someone shirks their responsibilities or breaks promises. Laziness or complacency in the face of an important task is something she cannot abide. She has little patience for people who avoid facing their responsibilities, whether in academics, clubs, or social situations.
- Disrespecting Elders or Authority: Though she is not afraid to challenge authority when it is necessary, Thomasin values respect for authority figures. Her upbringing instilled a respect for her parents' hard work and dedication to building a better life, so she finds it hard to tolerate people who disregard elders or seasoned professionals out of arrogance or youthful defiance.
