Personal history
Safiye was born on the 1st of Araon - a symbol for her divine status. She was brought to Asyn immediately and accepted into the Holy Order, and raised amongst the monks. Under training of the previous Matriarch, Safiye showed excellence in all facaulties, and particularly in her connection to the divinity, and was elected as the new Matriarch at 34, after the passing of the previous Matriarch.
Employment
Since being promoted to Matriarch, Safiye has been a world-leading figurehead at the top of the Earthern Holy Order. She has been deeply involved in many major negotiations and entreatments, and has acted as a mediating figure. For instance, she was involved in the recent invasion of Ovolyn into Prosea, and helped negotiated the peaceful settlement that now is being implemented. She has spent much of her time advocating for the tenets of the Gathering on an international scale.
Failures & Embarrassments
Safiye has been criticised for her treatment of those outside of the Gathering, and in particular for her treatment of those others inhabiting Glosa. She has also had to apologise for statements made about the Khronid Empire.
