Asyn
Demographics
Asyn is the heartland of the Gathering of Araoni. Although not the largest city, it is the headquarters of the Earthern Holy Order and is home to the most devout order of monks in Glosa. Entrance into Asyn is difficult, and must be confirmed before arrival.
Government
Asyn is run by the Earthern Holy Order, and has little problems with crime due to the selectivity of its population. The city is run like a large temple rather than a settlement.
Defences
Asyn lies in a mountain range, and scales many levels of height on the side of a rocky area. It is rather difficult to travel to and watchtowers are set up to ensure the safety of the city. Those who enter undergo rigorous identification and checking before they are allowed to enter the city, as many things are banned from entering Asyn.
Infrastructure
There are no main roads in Asyn, only small bridges and paths connecting the tall buildings together. There are, however, large expanses of garden lands that are seen as sacred and are cared for by the monks. The Matriarch has her own personal garden in this space.
Tourism
Asyn is the prized location for visitation for many of the pilgrims who travel to Glosa, despite the difficulty of gaining entrance. Founded by its namesake, it is a holy city that offers knowledge and miracle to those allowed to enter.
