Dragonborn
The Dragonborn are an engineered species, created by the now lost Theocracy of Brafon to serve as paladins in service of The Seven. The Dragonborn have an innate sense to always do good, and because of this there is an open bounty on them in the Vimor Empire. With the fall of the Theocracy of Brafon over a hundred years ago many of the Dragonborn have either gone underground or entered the wide world as heralds of The Seven. They travel the lands and write the wrongs against the common folk. Most Dragonborn look to the day they can overthrow the Vimor Empire and bring back order to the Region of Brafon.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dragonborn look very much like dragons standing erect in humanoid form, they however lack wings. They are strongly built, often standing close to 6 1/2 feet tall and weighing 300 pounds or more. Their hands and feet are strong, talonlike claws with three fingers and a thumb on each hand.
The blood of Dragons runs strongly through the Dragonborn, giving them some of the unique gifts of the dragons themselves.
Genetics and Reproduction
Dragonborn were an engineered species, however they have started to breed amongst themselves. However their birth rates are incredibly low. Dragonborn are hatched from an egg that must be cared for about 2 years before it will finally hatch.
Growth Rate & Stages
The Dragonborn once born quickly grow to full size. They reach full adulthood within seven years. It is currently unknown how long a Dragonborn can live for as the original Dragonborn created by the Theocracy of Brafon have all perished on the battlefield.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Dragonborn have need to consume a large amount of meat. This is attributed from their Draconic origins. They are able to eat fruits and vegetables.

Social Structure
Dragonborn are driven by the need to do good whenever they can. Each Dragonborn strives towards a sense of honor and justice. They have a continual drive for self-improvement, and become quite skilled in a multitude of endeavors beyond the battlefield.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
The Dragonborn hail from the Region of Brafon however with the fall of the Theocracy of Brafon the race has begun to spread throughout the continent as travelling priests and law keepers. They quite often find themselves in the position as an adventurer.

Naming Traditions
Dragonborn have personal names given at birth, however by adulthood they are given a name to be used in public. This is to prevent anyone taking advantage of the Dragonborn and knowing it's true name.

History
The Dragonborn were engineered by the Theocracy of Brafon in the year 428 NE. They were a product of combining the body of a human, with dragon blood, and spirits. The Dragonborn quickly proved their worth as formable fighters who always strived to do the right thing.
When the Theocracy of Brafon fell many dragonborn now hunted by the Vimor Empire went underground as freedom fighters. They also spread out across the continent, continuing to server The Seven.
