Tassilo Marachar is not in his prime, but could still best a majority of other Inquisitors in combat if need be. Notably, he does not have any cybernetic replacements or prosthetics of any form - a rarity among aging Inquisitors.
It is rumored that he has developed some sort of lung condition over the years, but there has been no official statement from anyone close to him.

Facial Features
With a straight jaw and piercing eyes, Marachar is an intimidating figure. The glare and hard facial features make up for the lack of threatening stature.
Apparel & Accessories
Marachar wears a thick black robe, with metallic gloves and boots. Attached to each glove is a hand-flamer, always primed for use.

Tassilo Revanchist Marachar comes from a world lost to history. There is no official record of his birth, nor who he was born to.
The earliest instance of records for High Inquisitor Marachar appears within the records of the Terratioc Zeta Guard regiment - the Zeta 93rd. Marachar would fight with distinction against a splinter of Hive Fleet Predator until the eventually encirclement and destruction of the regiment. It is unknown how the then 17 year old Marachar survived, but he was picked up by the Inquisition either way for any evidence of Xenos-Gene infection.
After serving directly under the Council of High Inquisitors in Roma, Marachar would gain his Inquisitorial seal a short five years after the fight with Hive Fleet Predator. It was a near unanimous decision to elevate his rank due to exemplar service. Despite this, all missions that the Inquisitor executed during his time as an acolyte is covered with black ink and security restrictions.
With two-hundred years of experience under his belt, Tassilo Marachar has a dedicated following within his faction of the Igna Phoetica and easily became a High Inquisitor to represent them.

Morality & Philosophy
One hundred years into Marachar's career, one final incursion of Chaos due to the actions of an Imperial official broke him. He set out to create a solution to the corruption within the Imperium, as that is supposedly the true enemy. If the statesmen were simply immune to the perversions of Chaos, Chaos would no longer be an issue, right?
Marachar came to the conclusion that no man was immune to the temptations of Chaos. No men other than those who decided to buy into his cause. This is what founded the Igna Phoetica, or "those who desire to burn". The central tenet of Marachar's new faction was to burn down all existing Imperial establishments and replace them with direct rule from the Inquisition. The High Inquisitors only became threatened by this way of thinking when they saw the overwhelming support for this new ideology...
