Along with Dean Embrose Lu, taught Gary in Beginner’s Inkomancy. Since Gary failed to nurture his inkling, he worked out an arrangement with Dean Lu in which he’d take an incomplete for the class instead of failing and spend the summer doing extra credit to get a passing grade.
