Wandering Soul
These units of the Royal Army of Jiaohai was never officially recognized as more than an urban legend, as doing so could have lowered its efficacy. Unofficially, Wandering Souls are mounted units equipped for stealth and subterfuge, as well as psychological warfare. Using strange flutes, the soldiers create the unearthly sounds of spirits and ghosts wandering through the area. This technique allows the Army to control areas they need to keep civilians, enemies, and monsters away from.
Composition

A typical wandering soul unit is four soldiers each trained to take the others place if necessary.
Equipment
They have a horse pulled wagon and two of the whistles that produces screams.
Structure
The squad answers to a squad leader.
Tactics
This unit attempts to remain undiscovered and settled into secure locations, changing their base of operations once a day or so.
