Night of Long Shadows

On nights of two new moons, called nights of long shadows, the material plane was thought to be closer to the realm of shadows. The connection to magic and in particular, the connection to the Moonwilde was weakened across the world. On these days, Eladrin cannot use their inborn ability to teleport by way of the Moonwilde, and creature of darkness creep from out of shadows to attack living creatures.
